1. Be good!
用于临别劝告(主要用于小孩)，意为：别淘气! 要乖乖的! 多保重! 如：
Well, good-bye, boys…Be good! 好啦，再见，孩子们……要乖乖的!
2. Good.
表示高兴、满意、赞同等(也说 That’s good)，意为：好；行； 妙； 不错；那就好。如：
A：I’ll be back tomorrow. 我明天就回来。
B：Good. 好。
A：You will come with us? 你同我们一道去好吗?
B：Good. 好的。
A：Mum, Mary’s come. 妈，玛丽来了。
B：That’s good. 那就好。
A：Let’s go together then. I’ll meet you at thetheatre at six-thirty. 那么我们就一起去吧，我们六点半剧院见。
B：Good! See you then. Bye. 好的! 到时见，再见。
3. Good for you.
表示称赞，意为：你真棒! 你真不错! 如：
A：Well, I’ve persuaded your father to see a doctor.
嗯，我已说服你父亲去看医生了。
B：Oh，good for you!You must have been very tactful.
哇，你真行! 你一定很会说话。
其中的代词根据情况也可换成其它人称。如：
God for George! He won the 100-yard race. 乔治真行!他赢了100码赛跑。
4. Very good.
1. 用来表示肯定或满意，意为：很好；很对。如：
A：What’s the capital of China? 中国的首都是哪儿?
B：It’s Beijing. 是北京。
2. 用来回答请求或命令，意为：行；好的；遵命。如：
A：Please tell the cook to come up. 请叫厨师上来。
B：Very good, sir. 好的，先生。
A：Post the letter at once, please. 请马上把这封信寄了。
B：Very good, sir. 遵命，先生。
