One person was killed and seven others wounded in a blast near a petrol station in Turkey's southeastern province of Sanliurfa province on Monday, the semi- official Anatolia news agency reported.
Sanliurfa Governor Nuri Okutan was quoted as saying that it was possible that the LPG tank of the petrol station exploded, leaving one person dead and seven people wounded including two in serious conditions.

He said the Turkish rescue teams were sent to the scene, adding that the wounded were rushed to hospitals for medical treatment.

Investigation into the explosion is underway, Okutan said.
