爱尔兰裔乔妮梅登 Joanie Madden 十几岁时就被称为世界上最好的六孔哨笛演奏者了，1984年她赢得了全爱尔兰的六孔哨笛锦标赛的最高奖，这位爱尔兰裔1965年出生于纽约布朗克斯，获得数个爱尔兰传统音乐大奖，1994年出版了她的首张独奏曲专辑《A Whistle on the Wind》，1996年的哨笛专辑《Song Of The Irish Whistle 爱尔兰哨笛》和1999年的《Song Of The Irish Whistle 2 爱尔兰哨笛2》。
