Pre-reading的设计:

1.What do you often use money for?

2. Why are so many citizens instereted in buying lottery?

3. Did you buy lottery sometimes?

4. What should you do in case you are a lottery winner of 10 thousand yuan?

阅读前,设计问题巧妙引入文章话题,激活学生的背景知识,使他们对阅读材料产生广泛兴趣,充分体现学生的主体作用和教师的主导作用,引导他们去预测阅读材料的主题内容和结构形式,有利于为后面的教学做好铺垫。

 

作业2:Design of Reading

1. (Fast reading to get general idea)

What’s the passage talking about?

2. (Ask students to sum up the main idea of each of the paragraph.)

What are the advantages and disadvantages of winning such a lottery?

  3. Find topic sentence for each paragraph.

4. Find detail parts to understand the meaning:

      a. How much money did Ken have?

 b.How did he deal with that big sum of money winning in the lottery?

 c. What did Susan Black think about lottery winners?

5.Ask students to find out some sentences which they are intereted in or don't understand.

6.Discussing those sentences and language points.

通过以上几个步骤的训练,每一个问题盘剥一层概念,使学生对文章有个由浅入深的理解过程,符合学生的认知规律,达到理解文章的目的。
