英国音乐剧第一夫人依莲.佩姬
依莲.佩姬 1948年3月5日出生，是世界闻名的英国歌手和演员，在音乐剧上有很高的造诣。
1978年，当时还默默无闻的依莲.佩姬获得在Tim Rice和韦伯(Andrew Lloyd Webber) 的音乐剧《贝隆夫人》中饰演女主角艾薇塔一角的机会。后来的事实证明，当初这个决定成为了佩姬踏上通往英国音乐剧第一夫人之路的起点。
她的表演为她赢得了伦敦西区戏剧奖委员会（Society of West End Theatre Award）评比的最佳女演员和综艺会（Variety Club）颁布的年度最佳角色奖。
佩姬还塑造了一些韦伯其他著名作品中的女性角色，比如《猫 (CATs) 》中的格丽兹贝拉（Grizabella）（佩姬也在后来的录像版中出演这个角色）；《日落大道》中的诺玛(Norma Desmond)。韦伯的《歌与舞》最早也是为佩姬写的，但后来由Marti Webb出演，Webb是继佩姬之后出演艾薇塔一角的演员之一。电影版的艾薇塔由麦当娜扮演。

但是，佩姬的舞台并不局限于韦伯的作品。

佩姬也多次登上了英国单曲榜。《棋王》中的《我是如此了解他 (I know him so well) 》（佩姬与Barbara Dickson合唱）在英国单曲榜上连续四周蝉联冠军，至今仍是吉尼斯纪录中所记载的销量最高的女声合唱曲目。
她演唱的《回忆》(选自《猫》)也打入过前十。另外她还有过8张金唱片，4张白金唱片。
佩姬在BBC电视台也有自己的节目，同时还在其拍摄的多部影片中领衔主演，并且多次在Royal Variety Shows中出演。
1995年，佩姬因为其对音乐剧事业做出的杰出贡献而被英国女王授予了不列颠帝国勋章。
