Edited and Translated by Yao Chun, People's Daily Online
A group army of the Guangzhou Military Command organized a confrontation drill in early September.
This drill was conducted strictly in accordance with demands of actual combat, without making plans or previews. According to the project provisionally set up by the headquarters, the participating troops carried out a series of military operations, such as a combat readiness level alteration, remote mobile transportation, fighting deployment and implementation.
In such a difficult condition, the participating parts were obliged to flexibly deploy and command their troops while looking for opportunities to beat the oppositing side through strategic arrangements and tactical planning, which has improved the overall combat capability of the troops in information conditions.
