The combined armed forces of a group army under the Chinese People's Liberation Army stationed in south China's Fujian Province conduct a river-crossing drill on Aug. 5, 2011. In order to fulfill the actual combat requirements, the troops improved the means of establishing a floating bridge and built a safe above-water corridor, which promoted the troops' rapid reaction and overall protection capabilities.
