说到瑞典馆最热门的排队项目，就是那个特大号的滑梯了，有儿童乐园之称的瑞典馆同样吸引了很多成人前来游玩，看来那些小时候最经典的游戏比什么高科技都来得有趣啊。今天我们就来回顾一下，“滑梯”用英语(论坛)是怎么说的。
Playground slidesare found in parks, schools, playgrounds and backyards.
公园、学校、操场和家里的院子里都会有滑梯这种游乐设施。
In Australia the playground slideis known as a slipperyslide or slippery dip.
在澳大利亚，滑梯被叫做slippery slide或者slippery dip。
Sliding pondor sliding ponis a term used in the New York City area to denotea playground slide.
而在纽约，滑梯被称为sliding pond或者sliding pon。
哇，眼花缭乱的一串名字，虽然各地的称呼有些差别，不过统称就是playground slide，slide这个词除了表示“下滑”，作为名词的时候还有一个更常见的意思，即“幻灯片”，我们常用的PPT幻灯片也是slide：
Nowadays slides are more and more used in classes.
如今课堂上老师都采用幻灯片教学的方式。
和slide很像的一个词是glide，glide表示“滑翔”，例如：
The bird glides over the lake. 鸟儿掠过湖面。
