Good evening Frank,
It just occurred to me that I don't know that much about you. Seriously, you have been on my email English course for several weeks now and it's about time you met your fellow students. Did you know that there are more than 36.000 people from all around the world in your English class? I hope you would like to meet some of them so you can share experiences and support each other. If you click on the link at the bottom of this email, you will have the chance to get in touch with the other students in your course. Some of them are from large countries such as China or India, others are from sultanates like the Oman. We have students from democratic republics such as France, from federations such as Russia or from kingdoms such as Great Britain. Do we also have students who live in the US or Canada? Sure we do and you can meet them all on the forum. By now, you should really have registered on the forum because i t helps you connect with the world, not just with me.
But first let's practise our grammar a little. The test in this lesson contains a conversation that can happen when you have breakfast with your spouse or friend. It's called Remove the spoon! and it helps you improve your grammar as well as you vocabulary skills. When you are finished with the test, you can listen to the correct answers here. By the way, I hope you've noticed that many of our tests contain such an audio link? Just look for the phrases "Listen to the answers" link on top of each link and click on it. You can listen to the correct answers as often as possible and even better -- you can repeat the sentences to improve your speaking skills and memorize new English phrases.
