So today wo gonna to be doing solo styling and characterization to take your dancing to a whole new level. So let’s get ready to have some fun.

This DVD is designed so you can work on your own dancing to develop the styling and characterization of each of the dancers.  So what I will be doing is a quick review of the techniques we have done in other two DVDs and which is just to making sure you have your posture correct, then we go and cover our swing, rotation and sway, then just go over the basics of the arm styling. So you can really push it more and have some fun.

这张影碟是旨在帮助您提高每个舞蹈员的造型与表现力。我们先来回顾一个上两张DVD中的舞蹈技巧，

If you feel like you need more time and act, go back to the first DVD. We will also cover a little bit on turns, but if you feel like you are loosing balance when we start doing a little of our rotation,

Again go back to your second DVd, so you can work on your balance to our rotation. So we will go over the basics, then we gonna push it and really have some fun with it.

如果你需要更多的时间练习前面的舞蹈动作，那么可以看第一张影碟。中间我也会穿插旋转的练习，如果你在旋转时觉得身体不能很好的控制，失去平衡，那么你回去再多练习第二张影碟中的动作，通过练习，你是能够做到在旋转中保持身体平衡的。好的，那我们现在先练习一下基本的动作技巧，那么再深入学习其他技巧。

Gentlemen, as you notice I am a lady Instructor, so when I am demonstrating these styling techniques, you notice that there is feminine influence in it, great for the ladies, but for you guys, I want to make sure you are really typing to your masculine side. Listen to the information I am giving you, and then trust yours instincts to make sure that you have a masculine edge to it

这里的男士们要注意了，你们看到，我是一名女性的舞蹈老师，当我在教大家造型技巧时你们可以发现我会有一些女性独有的动作，当然这对来学习的女士们来说是好事，但是对男士来说，你们要更多的表现你们男性阳刚的一面。认真的听我接下来要讲的，相信你们的男性特有的本能能够帮助你们更好的学习男步。

For example,

When I am doing my arm styling to put my high jump up which will be reviewing later on,

例如，我伸出手臂摆造型时，先将头微微太高，我们接下来也会讲到这点。

You Notice there is a lady I will have a rotation through the fingers,

I will high jump up over the high jump, with an extension of my head,

There will be a real feminine edge to it, for the gentlemen, I wouldn’t want it to look like that,

You stand stronger and taller, you gonna have a stronger line through your body, your hands won’t have that feminine finger flavor to it, Have more presenting actions on it , as if you were presenting a lady,
