　　On November 13, 2010, Royal Caribbean International's cruise ship,Allure of the Seas, arrived from Finland at its home in Port Everglades,Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Allure sit 213 feet above the waterline, have 16decks and can accommodate 5,400 guests and a crew of more than 2,000people. It measure 1,184 feet long,making the new passenger vessel thebiggest cruise ship in the world。

　　2010年11月13号，从芬兰出发的皇家加勒比国际游轮——“海洋诱惑号”到达佛罗里达州的艾佛格莱兹港。“诱惑号”在水线以上高213英尺，16层甲板，能容纳5400名游客以及2000多名船员。它有1184英尺(约合360米)长，使这艘新客轮成为世界上最大的游轮。

　　Nicknamed "the Harmony," China's CRH-380A train reached 302 milesper hour during a trial run in early December, 2010. That's more than 40miles per hour faster than the trial run it made in September,2010.China has the biggest network of high-speed rails in the world,totalling 4,690 miles. By 2020, the country aims to have 9,941 miles。

　　Aardman Animation used a 3D printer to produce different molds ofDot posed in various positions. The filmmakers shot the film using aNokia N8 smart phone equipped with a CellScope -- a diagnostic-qualitymicroscope The crew shot four seconds of film every day and when it wasreleased in September, 2010, "Dot" was certified by the Book of GuinnessWorld Records as the smallest stop-motion animation film。

　　On January 4, 2010, the Burj Khalifa (formerly known as the BurjDubai) opened to the public. It stands 2,716 feet tall and has more than160 stories -- more than any other building in the world. Not only doesit dwarf neighboring buildings, but it towers 1,050 feet over the nexttallest skyscraper, the Taipei 101 in Taiwan。
