The following two photos show a reader named "kissyruby" in her childhood.
"I was at 3 or 4 in this photo. I was smiling very happily, unveiling a missing tooth. I think that is because I was wearing overalls and a lovely bracelet and was accompanied by my best playmate — a plastic doll that my dad bought for me."
"When I was a little girl, my grandma usually took me to the photo studio twice a year —Children's Day and my birthday. As a girl pursuing beauty, each time I took a photo, I always dressed up by wearing new clothes, a golden necklace of my grandma's and a pair of ear clips in fashion. Then I posed carefully for the photo. Two of the same photo (upper right and bottom left) were taken in a nearby park where local residents went for walks. It cannot be denied that I was good at posing for photos. Now, it is hard for me to pose so naturally. Childhood is so wonderful. It is just like my grandma told me – these old photos are my beautiful memories."
