Windows 7 DVD (Multi-Brand/Multi-Edition) Activation

~Theme & Activate~ adding $oem$ folder to .iso

If you want to take your Win7 iso, and have it activate, with manufacturer brand theme|logon-off|user account|wallpaper|logos, then $oem$ method is all that is needed.

The 2xDownload Links that follow, each contain $oem$ folder, that include the necessary files to activate|theme your Win7.iso ..you only need to decide which Download Link, best suits your needs (1 or 2).

How To:-

Place the $oem$ folder in the "sources" folder of your iso, and delete the "ei.cfg" file from the same "sources" folder and rebuild iso .. then during install you will have option to choose the edition of win7 you want to install (ie. Starter | Basic | Home Premium | Pro | Ultimate) ... if you don't delete ei.cfg file, that's OK, just means Ultimate will install by default.

If you wish to add the optional Autounattend.xml (Description 3); then just add the file to the root of your Win7.iso, before rebuilding iso.

PowerISO or UltraISO, are good programs to rebuild your .iso; but are not free ...
or perhaps try this Rebuild_Win7_ISO, and run as administrator.

The files in the $oem$ folder are silently added during install, and silent command checks for the edition you installed and checks for manufacturer brand, and applies appropriate oem theme|logon-off|user account image|wallpaper|logos, cert, and serial for that brand ... (if your brand has no "leaked" serial for the edition installed, then Acer serial is used). During installation, pop-up box requesting serial will not appear. All unused files will be self deleted.

When you get to Desktop, and look in system properties ... your brand logo should be displayed, and activated. Desktop Wallpaper|logon-off and user account images should all be manufacturer brand of your PC.

If manufacturer brand string/s not detected; then the theme|logos|etc will be applied from the "DEFAULT" folder.

IMPORTANT:- The PC you are installing on, must have a slic 2.1 bios for this method to work.

As several folks have requested a method to incorporate "Daz's Loader" ... I have included this option ...
Same as Description 1, and in addition ... files check for activation, and if not activated, instructs the file "Windows Loader.exe" in the "scripts" folder to run, and apply Daz's Loader ... if specific brand detected, then loader will apply specific brand, if not detected, then Asus loader will be applied ... all actions are silent. All unused files will be self deleted.

Note: The PC you are installing on does not need to have a slic 2.1 bios for this method to work, if it happens to have slic 2.1 bios, then it will activate without Daz Loader, if not, Daz Loader will apply.

This Autounattend.xml will work on x86 | 64bit installs.

Functions of this optional Autounattend.xml:-

* IE8 set Google as Homepage, and Google as search provider
* Disable Windows Error Reporting
* Disable System Restore
* Disable Windows Defender
* Disable Windows Firewall
* Disable Automatic Windows Updates
* Set Network Location - Home

The "disabled" services are not removed, they can be re-activated by user from Desktop.

Just add the enclosed Autounattend.xml to the root of your Win7.iso
