Scientists have written what they believe is the world's smallest periodic table - on a strand of human hair. 科学家在人的一根头发上刻出了他们相信是世界上最小的元素周期表。

 

Experts at Nottingham University created the table which is so small that one million of them could be replicate d on a standard Post-It note, using a combination of an ion beam writer and electron microscope . 诺丁汉大学的研究人员制出的这个元素周期表非常小。在常用的约手掌大小的便签上，可以容纳数百万个这样大小的元素周期表。
