In the May 20 issue of Science magazine, U.S. scientist Craig Venter and his team reported that they had managed to manufacture a single bacteria cell, the first life form entirely controlled by synthetic DNA. This development, a key step toward the creation of simple living things, will promote the research of synthesis techniques of biofuel.
