Francoise  Hardy（1944年1月---）在近40年的演唱生涯中，一直以浪漫怀旧的歌曲和忧郁感伤的歌词著称。她的情歌不但有迷人的哀愁，还有无限的热情。
专辑《Parentheses》邀请Alain Bashung、Jacques Dutronc、Alain Delon、Henri Salvador、Benjamin Biolay等法国老中青三代的知名艺人，以及拉丁天王Julio Iglesias、英国新生代摇滚诗人Ben Christophers等人，与Francoise Hardy深情对唱。《Parentheses》以轻缓的香颂为基调，渗入爵士、民谣、些许电音。
