A German Shepherd is being called a hero after he led statetroopers through dark, snowy roads to his owner's burning property。
一条德国牧羊犬带领州警穿过漆黑、覆盖着积雪的道路，来到它主人的正在失火的家里。事后，它被称作英雄。
Dash-camera video from a state trooper's vehicle showed Buddyrunning back to Ben Heinrichs' property which was engulfed in flamesafter a heater set chemicals on fire。
一辆警车里的摄像机录下了这条狗跑回它的主人海因里希斯的家里的过程。海因里希斯的家里是因为火炉点燃了化学物质而失火的。
Heinrichs, who was badly burned, had told Buddy to go and get help: "The video clip almost made me cry, seeing Buddy do that."

State troopers awarded Buddy with a silver-plated bowl and a boneon Friday. His owner said it was not the first time his dog played thehero。

"Yes, he's saved my life more than once. He's chased off a couple bears for me. He's a good dog," Heinrichs said。

The workshop Heinrichs was working in was destroyed in the fire,but the house was saved. Heinrichs is recovering from his burns。
