　　The invitation most women would like to hear this Valentine's Day is: "Would you like to dance?"

　　A study commissioned by British dance event MOVE IT, asked 500 menand women aged between 16 - 55 about their attitudes toward dating andmatters of romance, to discover what both sexes are looking for when itcomes to a romantic partner this Valentine's Day。

　　The results reveal a gulf between each gender's attitude towarddating and, in particular, the role of dancing within the datingscenario. Results showed that 83.3 percent of people were nervous aboutthe first dance on a first date。

　　Most men are more nervous about the first dance with a girl, thanthe first kiss, while only 11 percent of women were nervous about thefirst dance。

　　Other areas of worry included maintaining a conversation, the first kiss and looking your best。

　　The study also revealed that women would be more likely to continuedating a bad kisser who could dance, than a bad dancer who could kissand that more women rated being able to dance well above being able tokiss well when asked about the skills they most rated in a prospectivepartner。

　　A woman's dream date scenario would be dinner then dancing with53.3 percent choosing it as their ideal date, beating a romantic walk,the cinema, bowling or a sports match。

　　But a man's dream date scenario would be going on a romantic walkwith only a quarter of those questioned choosing dinner then dancing astheir first choice。

　　"Being a more confident dancer can help you catch the eye ofprospective dates and add a little sparkle to an evening out so we arecalling on men throughout the nation to rid themselves of their dancingfears this Valentine's Day and hit the dance floor," MOVE IT CreativeDirector Georgina Harper said in a statement。

　　MOVE IT takes place on 11th-14th of March at London's Olympia, andwill feature masterclasses, live performances, dance classes, topdancers, leading exhibitors, freestyle stage, auditions, seminars and a"Get On Stage" competition。

　　MOVE IT的创意总监乔姬娜?哈珀在一项陈述中说：“成为一名更自信的舞者能够帮助你吸引潜在约会对象的眼球，并为约会的夜晚增加亮点。所以我们呼吁全国的男性在今年情人节扔掉他们对跳舞的恐惧，迈开他们的舞步。”

　　MOVE IT舞会活动将于3月11日到3月14日在伦敦的奥林匹亚城举行，届时会有大师学习班、现场表演、舞蹈班、顶级舞者、重要的参展商、自由风格舞舞台、试镜、研讨会和一场名为“登上舞台”的比赛。
