BEIJING, Aug. 19 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao said on Friday that he is "fully confident" that the U.S. economy could overcome difficulties and return to the normal track of development.

Wen made the remarks at a meeting with visiting U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.
