According to the Daily Mail on February 14, a gay waiter who hadhis nipples tweaked by a customer at a Chinese restaurant in London, UK,has been awarded ￡21,500 (about＄34,800) after winning hisdiscrimination claim。
该国一名同性恋服务员因在一家中餐馆工作时遭遇男顾客摸乳头等歧视性行为而将该餐馆告上法庭，并于日前获赔2.15万英镑(约合3.48万美元)。
Chinese-born Vincent Ma, 31, joined the Yauatcha Chinese restaurantof London in October 2009, and he told the tribunal how he was lefthumiliated when two male managers simulated sex acts in front of him andhow when a customer pinched his nipple as he served food, his bossasked him: "Did you like it?"
31岁的文森特马(音译)出生在中国，自2009年10月开始在一家叫Yauatcha的伦敦中餐厅工作。他告诉法庭，他是如何在餐厅遭受侮辱行为的。两名男性经理在他面前模仿“性动作”。除此之外，在他为客人服务的过程中，还有顾客对其进行性骚扰，而值班经理却反问他：“难道你不喜欢被摸吗？”
He also told the tribunal: "I was losing weight and, due to thetightness of the company uniform, a black T-shirt, my body figure wasbeing shown. However, one manager said my chest was sexy."
他还告诉法庭：“我的体重在不断下降，原因就是因为餐厅黑色T恤制服太紧了。另外，我的整个身形显露无疑。但是，经理还嘲笑我很性感”。
A London panel ordered Hakkasan Limited, which owns Yauatcha, topay Vincent ￡21,500 (about＄34,800) for lost earnings and injury tofeelings。
伦敦一家法院判决因收入损失以及情感受伤两项因素，要求Yauatcha中餐厅所属的Hakkasan有限公司赔付文森特2.15万英镑(约合3.48万美元)。
