The data was collated by sending alerts to volunteers’ mobilephones twice a day. The messages asked how they felt, who they werewith, where they were and what they were doing. Using satellitenavigation systems, their exact locations were also logged – allowingthe scientists to pinpoint the happiest parts of the country。
