No one under XXI is served:
A sign on the bar that says "Over 21 Only" or "No Students" and an instruction
to the bartender to ask for proof of age whenever there is any doubt that an
individual is 21;
The legal minimum drinking age in this country is 18. But now, Half a dozen pubs
in a relatively small area on the outskirts have a traditionally young
clientele, especially in the 18-21 age group, and they get the problems often
associated with that age group, including a lot of underage drinking. Now, some
of the "problem" pubs suddenly raise their minimum age limit to 21, thus
instantly eradicating most of their problems. And that's why in some places in
the United States, some bars put up the sign "No one is served under 21".
