Oum Kalthoum(1904-1975)：
埃及国宝级歌手，中東地區20世紀最有天份的歌手與音樂家，歷經半世紀而仍然大受歡迎，迄今仍常見於阿拉伯語發音的電台廣播。Om Kolthoum的歌曲都很长，有的能长达40分钟，而这些歌曲的前奏部分，慢慢演变为中东舞的舞曲，它们也接近5分钟的时长。
Mohammed Abdel Wahab（1899 or 1907 - 1991）：
