Presentation of my teaching plan 一、 The analysis of the material The material I'll say is the second lesson of Unit 8 in the 《 Go For It teaching book 》 . Developing their abilities of teamwork. 4) culture aim Ss learn more about the weather in foreign counties. 三、 Key points and difficulties According to the teaching material and the analysis of the teaching aims, I think …. 四、 Teaching methods and principles I want to teach it by Task-based learning and activity-based teaching. As we know, now task-based approach is the most effective means currently available. The students will have a much more varied exposure to language with TBL. I will give students a whole range of lexical phrases, collocations and patterns as well as language forms. The language explored arises from the students needs. It is a strong communicative approach where students spend a lot of time communicating. As a matter of fact it is enjoyable and motivating. What else, I will also choose activity-based teaching. And I'll use different kinds of activities, class work; individual work; pair work; group work and so on. Because it is generally recognized today that individual learners have different learning styles, strategies and preferences. It is also generally accepted that to be effective lessons need a change of pace and focus to maintain the concentration of the learners. For both these reasons it is important that we teachers have as wide and flexible repertoire. So activity-based teaching is very important. According to the analysis of the material, I want to use ….to teach. And I try to create a hot English atmosphere in class to arouse the students' great interest. Let the students master the knowledge and practice English gradually. As well as the students' abilities can be developed from it. 五、 Learning methods In this lesson, I regard the new English teaching lever as the main guiding and the activity as the main styles. I try to change the class into a lively and vivid real life. Through it I connect all the new knowledge together. And I persist in the principle of “words-sentences-and text”, put the students into a real life, and let them approve their English language applying ability, and as well form the students' self-study hobbit. 六、 Teaching aids Multi-media aids/ tape-recorder / English flash songs/ … 七、 Teaching steps Step 1: Warming-up and greeting. First, let the students do a dubbing game to interest them. The song is about animals and it is very funny and exciting. So if the students have it, they must be very happy. And then I'll greet with them. Class begins. Step 2: Leading-in. In this part, I lead the topic in through Christmas Day. Because that day is December 23rd and the day after tomorrow is December 25th, Christmas Day. That festival is one of the important day of western ones. And most of the students are interested in it. So I want to use it to lead the topic in. And then the appearance of One-one and Two-two interests them again. Then we're going to the animas Christmas Party. Step 3: Presentation of new words. First I will presentation the extra-words. And then I presentation the key-words: tiger 、 elephant 、 monkey 、 rabbit 、 panda 、 butterfly 、 horse 、 duck. Here, I use animal pictures and animal voice to present the new words, which are very funny and interesting. The animals are having the party happily.Step 4: Drill of the words. Here I use guessing game and imitation game to drill them. First some students do some funny actions about animals and other students guess what animals they are like. And then we do a guessing game together. The main sentence is “I think it's…” and “Is it a/an…?”. In these game, the students are very happy and during it they practice the words very naturally. Step 5: Presentation of “be doing” expressions. And then I will present the “be doing” expressions. In the party, animals are having party happily. But what are they doing? So I can present “be doing” expressions. For example, the bird is flying now. The pig is dancing now. The rabbits are singing now. And then I ask the students some questions and they answer. In that case they can be familiar with the expressions. Step 6: Drill of “be doing” expressions. I use guessing game to practice them. What is the pig doing now? It's flying now. What is the panda doing now? It's dancing now. The pictures are very interesting. And the class are all laughing at that time. Step 7: Writing consolidation. And then the students will do some excises to practice them. First, it's a choice about animals. The students will match the words and animal pictures. And then They do a listening excise to fill in the blanks. During this course, they can be more familiar with the new words and new expressions. And then the students will have a competition. Let's have a look who has the best oral English in our class. I will give them one minute to make a preparation. After that I will call some students to read the passage. They must read it very naturally and loudly. Step 8: Task. (Group party) At last the students will have a party in the group. They must use “be doing” expressions. I will give them two minutes to prepare it. At this time I play the beautiful song about Christmas Day. The atmosphere is happy and natural. The students are having their party now. And after that, some groups will show their party to us. As a matter of fact, it's the highest point of this class. Step 9: Homework Learn a song about animals. And watch the movies in the English Super-sky. 八、 Blackboard 教学设计 (一)教材分析: 本节课是一节课外材料,在本学期即将结束课程的时候,我选择了动物这个话题来拓展学生们的单词量,丰富学生们的课外知识,提高学生们的学习英语的兴趣,同时也是在复习本学期课程中的一个重点部分 -- 动词。本节课通过现在进行式的教学,对动词教学起到了教好的巩固和复习的作用。 (二)学生分析: 对于学生来说,对动物这一话题早已不陌生了。在本学期里,虽然课本教材里并没有出现有关动物的课文,但是在平时课间或作业里已经多次渗透有关动物的内容,例如动物电影的配音,动物的词汇总动员活动等。所以简单的动物词汇对于学生来说很容易接受。而对于较长的那些单词,通过本节课的反复出现,也会及时的得到消化。通过本节课的各种趣味性的活动,学生不仅可以在轻松中学习新的知识,还可以极大的提高学习英语的兴趣。 (三)设计思路: 结合圣诞节这个学生们感兴趣的西方节日,给学生创造外语语言氛围,把学生们自然地引入圣诞节的动物欢庆会上,让学生身临其境地在不知不觉中学习新的知识。最后通过情境任务和游戏等方式对学生所学知识点进行训练,从而达到巩固知识的目的。最后自然的引出情感教育,要爱护我们的动物,保护我们的家园。 (四)教学目标: 在这里教学目标和行为目标进行分解,变成可操作性较强的教案。从知识目标、能力目标、德育目标三个方面进行说明。 a. 知识目标: ( 1 ) 动物单词: animal 、 tiger 、 elephant 、 monkey 、 rabbit 、 panda 、 butterfly 、 horse 、 duck. It's your homework. -Good-bye, class! 教学反思: 总体上来说, 本节课备课思路是比较明确的。以圣诞节动物们的聚会为线索。但是在课堂的教学上,好象这条线索并不明显。分析了原因,主要还是在于课堂教学用语指令不是很明确,教师备课不是很充分,不能运用自如,而导致思想全部集中在所教新知识上。所以在以后的教学备课当中,一定要做到提前备课,反复备课和充分备课,只有这样才能在课堂上有很好的发挥,学生也轻松愉快的学到新的知识。 另外,本节课的备课结构上也存在一点问题。一堂课下来觉的有些头重脚轻。前面的单词落实上,花费的时间较多,从而导致在后面句型的讲解上感觉仓促,在真正的落实上就出现了很大的问题。那么在以后的备课当中一定要注意结构的合理性。在时间的安排上一定要把握好分寸,让整堂课在自然和谐的氛围中结束,让所教内容真正的落实下去。也可以让最后的学生反馈阶段得到更好的效果。 指导师点评: This lesson aims at the present continuous tense teaching which is the inward thread through the whole class. However, the outward thread is related with the topic of the animal which is easy to arouse the Ss' interest and stimulate their desire for knowledge. Meanwhile, the class is managed in so many different ways that the class stays very active and vivid from the very beginning to the end. In addition, the four elements-listening, speaking, reading and writing are also fully reflected in this class, thus the new grammar is consolidated very well finally. What's more, the teacher can make full use of the multi-media which enhances the vividness of the class. The only defect of the class is that the thread is not evident enough to go through the whole class.
