中新网8月28日电看到蒋介石40年前在日记中写下对基辛格(Henry Kissinger)的愤怒，基辛格本人的反应是什么？据台湾联合报报道，基辛格说：“很遗憾(Sorry)”。40年前的1971年7月，基辛格在巴基斯坦假装肚子痛，暗地里飞往北京见毛泽东，促成美国前总统尼克松在1972年的首次访美，开始了美国与中国大陆的交往。

基辛格与同样是美国前国务卿，现任胡佛荣誉学者舒兹(George Shultz)日前参观斯坦福大学胡佛研究所举办的“世纪之变──辛亥百年珍藏史料特展”，胡佛档案馆亚洲馆藏部主任林孝庭出面接待时，特地出示了蒋介石日记在1971、1972年记载基辛格的部分，并且口语翻译给基辛格听。

林孝庭表示，当蒋介石得知基辛格假装肚子痛，暗地飞往北京，打开美国与中国交往之门，感到相当震惊与愤怒，“当时蒋介石努力淡化台北对此事的情绪反应，同时又要避免国际间误解以为基辛格此行已事先获得台当局的谅解。”蒋介石还将基辛格密访北京的剪报，贴在日记中，但未作任何评论。

基辛格仔细听完林孝庭这段翻译介绍后表示，他感到“很遗憾”。基辛格认为，当年美国努力打开与中国大陆交往之门，从长远来看，还是对台湾有利的，基辛格并举台湾日后的经济成就等为例，认为这都是美国决定与大陆交往后对台湾所产生的正面影响。
