好莱坞标志面临被强拆危险The iconic Hollywood sign in Beverley Hills is at the risk of being demolished。

Even though the sign is owned by the city, the property around itfalls under the ownership of a group of Chicago-based investors。
虽说这个标志为洛杉矶所有，但周边地产却属于一家芝加哥地产商集团。
Now, these investors have planned to sell the land to developers。

However, a conservation group still has a chance to save the signby buying the plot around it for 12.5million dollars by 14 April。

And already 9.5million dollars have been raised thanks tocontribution from people in the industry such as actor Tom Hanks anddirector Steven Spielberg。
