美发布“僵尸预警指南” 指导民众避难

　　With rumors swirling in conspiratorial corners that the end of theworld is nigh, the US government last week posted some online counsel onhow to be prepared in case of a zombie apocalypse。

　　"There are all kinds of emergencies out there that we can preparefor. Take a zombie apocalypse for example. " said an official blog postby Assistant Surgeon General Ali Khan on the Centers for Disease Controlwebsite。

　　"You may laugh now, but when it happens you'll be happy you readthis, and hey, maybe you'll even learn a thing or two about how toprepare for a real emergency," says the blog。

　　The tongue-in-cheek post makes no reference to fervent allegationsby some preachers that the world would end on Saturday May 21.

　　It does however point to numerous examples of "the rise of zombiesin pop culture... (giving) credence to the idea that a zombie apocalypsecould happen."

　　The blog points readers to emergency preparedness tips that the CDChas long advocated, such as having an emergency kit at one's homecontaining water, food and supplies "to get you through the first coupleof days before you can locate a zombie-free refugee camp," it says。

　　"(Or in the event of a natural disaster, it will buy you some timeuntil you are able to make your way to an evacuation shelter or utilitylines are restored)."

　　Knowing an evacuation route, having a designated meeting place withfamily and a list of emergency contacts are also high on the list。

　　"If zombies did start roaming the streets, CDC would conduct aninvestigation much like any other disease outbreak," it promises。

　　某些传教士近日预言5月21日(上周六)是世界末日，这篇半开玩笑的日志没有提到这一狂热的论调。

　　但该文提到了“僵尸风靡流行文化”的众多例证，“以证明有可能发生‘僵尸末日’”。

　　这篇日志向读者介绍了美国疾控中心长期提倡的应急常识，比如家中准备一个应急包，里面装上水、食物、以及“在到达没有僵尸的避难所之前能让你先撑几天的”一些物品。

　　“或者遇到自然灾害时，它能帮你争取一些时间，直到你可以前往避难地，或者熬到补给线修好。”

　　日志中提到的重要措施还有：熟知疏散路线、与家人有一个指定的集合地点、紧急联络名单等等。

　　作者在文中承诺：“如果僵尸真的开始走上街头，美国疾控中心将展开调查，就像其它疾病爆发时那样。”
