QQ Spanish La Liga club Malaga confirmed on Friday the signing of French international midfielder Jeremy Toulalan from Olympique Lyon.The two clubs have agreed a fee thought to be between eight and ten million euros for the 27-year-old who has represented his country on 36 occasions.
Toulalan becomes the fourth player to sign for Malaga this summer. He follows former Dutch internationals Ruud Van Nistelrooy and Joris Mathijsen and Spain international defender Nacho Monreal in signing for the club that is owned by Sheik Abdullah Al-Thani.
Al Thani looks likely to spend more money this summer as he aims to give coach Manuel Pellegrini a team capable of battling for a place in Europe.
Valencia winger Joaquin Sanchez could be the next player to join the project.
The new signings have caused great expectation among Malaga fans who have already taken out 3,000 more season tickets for the new season which begins in August.
