评论(97)中国共产党成立90周年前夕涌动的一股“红色”浪潮本周掀起新高度,中国科技行业的多位巨头也卷入其中。

参加这次活动的人包括中国一些最成功的民营企业家,比如百度创始人兼CEO李彦宏(Robin Li)、新浪CEO曹国伟(Charles Chao)和搜狐CEO张朝阳(Charles Zhang)。

据新华社在新浪微博上的转述,李彦宏说:“走中国特色社会主义道路,是中国互联网持续健康快速发展的动力源泉。”

新华社在新浪微博上发布的照片显示,李彦宏和曹国伟分别在一块写有“红色的起点、永远的丰碑”的大型红色背景板前面发言。财新网刊载的另一张照片上,可以看到李彦宏在一大会址前微笑着挥舞一面红旗。

除了这些互联网企业经理人,还有其他一些知名人士也加入到中共建党90周年前夕的宣传活动中。中国电影界一些大牌如演员章子怡、周润发(Chow Yun-fat)和导演吴宇森(John Woo)都参演了电影《建党伟业》(英文名:Beginning of the Great Revival)。这部影片由中国电影监管机构委托拍摄,追溯1911年清王朝瓦解到1921年中国共产党成立这段时间的中国历史,按计划将于下周三在全国范围内上映。

虽然中共很久以来就有利用娱乐界名人帮助宣传的传统,但企业家担当这个任务的情况却少见得多,其中一大原因是,他们的巨额财富与中共接近百年前成立时那种自我牺牲、共同奋斗的政纲形成了如此鲜明的对照。

但是,即便李彦宏和其他企业家不太适合做党的发言人,他们跟党走的意愿至少也有可能让北京的领导人有所安心。在中东依托网络力量发生民众起义之后,北京的领导人对于互联网造成破坏的潜力越来越感到紧张不安。

而在2012年即将迎来十年一次的领导层变更之时,让中国商界明星知道自己在社会阶层中的地位肯定没坏处。

正如新华社引用张朝阳的话说:“中国共产党如何在各种困难情况下,把握形势、制定策略、凝聚力量,这远比MBA教科书深刻。”

A tide of 'red' pride sweeping through China ahead of the 90thanniversary of the founding of the Chinese Communist Party may havereached a new strandline this week, swallowing up several of thecountry's tech industry titans.

More than 60 of the biggestnames from China's high-flying Internet sector gathered recently at amuseum marking the site of the CPC's First National Congress on XingyeRoad in Shanghai to sing revolutionary songs and attend a Partylecture, according to reports from the state-run Xinhua news agency.

Amongthose taking part in the tour were some of the country's mostsuccessful private businessmen, including Baidu founder and CEO RobinLi, Sina CEO Charles Chao and Sohu CEO Charles Zhang.

'Walkingthe path of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the well-springof strength that will allow the Chinese Internet to continue itshealthy and rapid development,' Mr. Li was quoted as saying on Xinhua'sSina Weibo microblog feed.

Photos posted to the Xinhua Weibofeed show Messrs. Li and Zhao delivering comments in front of a largered backdrop with the words 'Red Birthplace, Eternal Monument.' Inanother photo published on the website of business magazine Caixin,Mr. Li can been seen smiling and waving a red flag in front the museum.

TheInternet executives aren't the only high-profile figures to be draftedinto the Party's pre-anniversary propaganda push. Some of the biggestnames in Chinese film a ' including actress Zhang Ziyi, actor ChowYun-fat and director John Woo a ' are slated in appear in 'Beginning ofthe Great Revival,' a movie commissioned by the country's filmregulator that traces Chinese history from the fall of the Qing Dynastyin 1911 to the founding of the CCP in 1921 and is scheduled to hittheaters nationwide next Wednesday.

While the Party has a longtradition of employing famous entertainers to spread its message,however, it's far less common to see entrepreneurs put to the task a 'not least because their massive wealth clashes so starkly with theplatform of self-sacrifice and common struggle on which the Party wasfounded nearly a century ago.

But if Mr. Li and his fellowexecutives make imperfect spokesmen for the Party, their willingness totoe the Party line might at least bring some peace of mind to leadersin Beijing grown increasingly nervous over the disruptive potential ofthe Internet in the wake of Web-powered uprisings in the Middle East.

Andwith a once-in-a-decade leadership change coming up in 2012, itcertainly can't hurt to help China's stars of business remember theirplace in the hierarchy.

As Xinhua quoted Sina's Mr. Zhao saying:'The way the Chinese Communist Party was able, in all manner ofdifficult circumstances, to grasp the situation, formulate a strategyand concentrate power a ' this is deeper than anything found in an MBAtextbook.'
