九乡新闻网远达环保 碳交易:Tibetan representatives gather to voice gratitude towards new Tibet

On May, 23, representatives from all walks of life in Tibet attended a forum to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the region’s peaceful liberation which brought significant changes to people live there.
The forum attendants shared their personal experience with each other on this special occasion. Thubten Khedrup, dean of School of Economic and Management Sciences in Tibet University, said that "I feel gratitude for the good time that brought me up", turning him from a poor student who could barely afford a notebook to an excellent educator, a pioneer in economics education area.
Dawa Dondrup, a successful entrepreneur backed up Thubten Khedrup's opinion with his own story. The current billionaire that once started from scratch said that thanks to the reform and opening-up policy, he could grasp the business opportunities and made a big fortune.
DupkangTupden Kedup, deputy from the religion sector, head of the Buddhist Association of China Tibetan branch felt from the bottom of his heart that the religious freedom was fully enjoyed in Tibet and the peaceful liberation was wholeheartedly supported by both religious people and ordinary people.
"Sixty-year is merely a flash in the river of time, yet Tibet has witnessed unparalleled changes during that peorid." The forum concluded as such.
