据日本新闻网报道，下午13时发表的核辐射监测报告说，福岛第一核电站泄漏的核物质已经飘至东京，东京地区的放射线量已经超过了往常的20倍，而且继续处于上升的趋势。
另外，与东京都相邻埼玉县政府也发表报告说，埼玉县的核辐射量也比平时增加了20倍。
据报道，东京都知事石原慎太郎发表谈话说，目前的这些核辐射量不会对健康构成危险。
