字体汇丰控股有限公司(HSBC Holdings PLC, 简称：汇丰控股)行政总裁欧智华(Stuart Gulliver)周二预计，未来15-20年，随着美元对投资者的吸引力逐渐减弱，人民币有望跻身全球三大储备货币。

欧智华在一个商业会议上表示，人民币不会完全取代美元的地位，此外，欧元也将成为政府和机构持有的三大储备货币之一。

欧智华称，未来美元、欧元及人民币在外汇储备中的比重将更加趋于平衡，但在可预见的未来，美元仍将是主要储备货币。

据国际货币基金组织(International Monetary Fund, 简称IMF)的数据，目前美元在全球外汇储备中的比重为61%左右，欧元的比重为26%左右。当前人民币尚未实现自由兑换，但中国政府已经与一些国家签署协议，使用人民币进行跨境贸易结算。

欧智华指出，自去年中国放松管制以来，香港的离岸人民币帐户数量快速增长。他说，“我们可能即将掀起一场金融革命”。

欧智华鼓励英国公司搭上中国经济增长的快车，并特别指出，投资可再生能源领域的时机已经成熟。
