考研英语词汇复习（12）
表示“观点”、“见解名词 viewpoint、standpoint、perspective
outlook、 appraoch、 vision、 proposition

这组名词都可表示“观点”、“见解”的意思。
viewpoint (point of view)和 standpoint 是普通用词，泛指看待问题的观点或立场。
1) The house is not the best choice from the financial point of view.
（从经济的观点来看，这栋房子并不是最好的选择。）
2) I beg you to look at the problem from my standpoint.
（我请你从我的观点来审视这个问题。）
perspective 侧重指看待事物的视角，即从……角度来看问题或事物。
1) We should learn to see things in their right perspective.

2) The discovery is of great significance when it is viewed in the perspective of social progress.
（从社会的进步角度来看，这项发现具有重要的意义。）
outlook 指对事物形成的总体看法，如世界观等。

proposition 指对某事物应该如何办的看法和主张，带有建议性。

2）We have repeatedly elaborated our position and proposition on the RMB exchange rate.
（我们已经反复阐述了我们在人民币汇率上的观点。）
