The above are just very few excerpts from the massive Western mainstream coverage over J -20. The West cooks up China's navy power - Varyag, and now the air force - J-20 and J-15.
J-20, why are you SO HOT? Do you really end the U.S. F-22 air superiority and challenge the U.S. military dominancy, or are you just the over-hyped legend intentionally cooked up by the Western media?
Six hidden reasons for plotting here --

China's J-15
1 - To make mischiefs between China and the Southeastern Asian countries.
J- 20 and the first carrier “Varyag” are the most lethal weapons to guard the sovereignty of South China Sea – a disputed area in East Asia. Cooking up J -20 therefore, is a trick to turn against China and its neighboring countries, reminding countries such as Vietnam to “read” the hidden intention of China – which emerges the arms deal opportunities for the West as well as the obstacles of China’s power rising.

2 - To heat up the “China Threat ” claims.

Picture from Telegraph show the West's fear about the China's military power rise.
3 - To press Obama against his plan to cutdown 40 bln dollar military expenditure - after all, the hawks need battles; and the arms dealers still need trades.
4 - To turn the J-20 and the Varyag carrier into the international military spotlights.

5 – To distract the global public attraction from NATO’s “mission” in Libya . To be clear, the U.S.’s retreat from air strikes over Libya was to appease its fierce domestic anti-war waves. It is in time to cook up J-20 in terms of public opinion refocusing.
6 – to maintain American’s "policing the world" – the fears over J-20 is exactly a reflection of the U.S.’s worries about its absolute hegemony decline after the Cold War.
Actually, the debuts of J-20 and China’s first carrier “Varyag” are merely the hints of the soaring defense power of China. To change the game rules originally set by the US, it is still a long way to go.
